California ADA Policy for Service Animals

Service Animals Are welcome. We are committed to providing accessible accommodations to all our guests, including those who require the assistance of service animals. Below are our policies in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California law:

Definition of Service Animal:

A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Tasks must be directly related to the individual's disability.

2

Access Rights:

Service animals are permitted in all areas of our property where guests are allowed. There are no additional fees for guests with service animals. Service animals are not considered pets.

3

Inquiries:

To determine whether your service animal qualifies we will ask:

1. Is the animal required because of a disability?

2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

4

Behavior and Control:

Service animals must be under the handler's control at all times. This can be through a harness, leash, or other tether, unless such a device interferes with the service animal's work or the handler's disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the handler must maintain control through voice, signal, or other effective means. If a service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, or if the service animal is not housebroken, we may request that the animal be removed from the premises. However, the individual will still be offered the opportunity to stay without the animal.

We are dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests.

PETS PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, WELL BEING, COMFORT OR COMPANIONSHIP ARE NOT RECOGNIZED AS SERVICE ANIMALS UNDER ADA REGULATIONS. MISREPRESENTING A DOG AS A SERVICE ANIMAL IS A CRIMINAL VIOLATION.
